Can I attend a workshop if I am not a member?

Answer:  Yes, visitors may attend for one or two Workshops, after which, most people decide to join the Group as a Member.

Do, I have to bring my own faceting machine?

Answer:  Preferable yes, but with prior arrangement one may be able to be supplied.

Do, I have to attend for the four days?

Answer:  No, you may attend for as many days as you wish, the choice is yours.

What should I bring to a workshop?

Answer:   Bring everything chair, table, adaptors, power board, 10x, head visor, transfer jig, dops, dopping medium, bucket, tissues, rough material and whatever you need for a good weekend’s faceting.  Don’t forget your mug for a cuppa.

I'm interested, but how much experience do I need?

Answer:  Don't worry, even if you have little or no experience at all in faceting, you will be made most welcome within the Group and at our workshops. In fact, we encourage newer members with an interest in faceting to come along to our workshops, where members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience in faceting.

I've never attended a workshop before, so how do I get there?

Answer:  Our Homepage has a Google Map showing the location of our next Workshop.  Also, we provide further details about the coming Workshop on our Workshops page.

What does it cost to attend a workshop?

Answer:  We charge a minimal fee that helps to cover the cost of hiring the hall that we use for the workshop.  By doing this, it helps to keep the cost of attending a workshop affordable for those who attend.  Plus we are able to keep our membership fees low and affordable too.

Fees include tea/coffee refreshments during the workshop.
